On the former military site, around 1,700 apartments, 1,000 jobs, a park and social facilities with numerous open spaces will be build and finished by 2018. The heart of the 24-hectare city district is a large park and a central square in the east, where shops and restaurants are located following the terminus of the new tram line 23.
